Thank you for visiting CK Schuss Mountain Condo Rentals!  We specialize in condo unit rentals in Schuss Village at Shanty Creek Resort, located in beautiful Bellaire, Michigan.  Learn more about us in this video.

 

We love this area and have been skiing and vacationing here for 15 years. After years of visiting and renting, we purchased our first condo in 2014, and now own a 2-bedroom and two 1-bedroom condos. As our family grows we would like an area where they can vacation and enjoy the beauty of Northern Michigan!

In addition to our personal units, we also manage condos for other families in the village. With nearly 30 units available we have one-, two-, and three+ bedroom units at various  locations within the heart of the Schuss Village and the surrounding area.  Schuss Village is the resort's premium ski village and also offers an excellent golf course and an easy drive to another half dozen spectacular northern Michigan golf courses.  With the number and variety of units available, I will find the perfect spot for you!

The Area

​

Many summer travelers use this location as a hub for visiting many other areas. Our condos are reasonably priced and right in the middle of many day trip areas including: Torch lake, Traverse city, Petoskey, Bay Harbor, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and countless other destinations in the beautiful northwestern lower peninsula.

The city of Bellaire is a short 6 mile drive where you can find a great variety of dining and shopping options. Shorts microbrewery has delicious unique sandwiches, soup and pizza, not to mention one of the best craft breweries in Michigan. Bee Well, just across the street from Shorts, offers a great selection of mead and hard cider. Terrain is a new higher-end food restaurant with more of an elegant dining experience. At Bellaire Bar you can enjoy delicious bar food in a rustic setting with sports on the TV's. Toonies is a family style diner. The locally owned shops offer a unique local shopping experience, but the M-88 shopping district also features a larger grocery store and several franchise-style food options. Each year Bellaire continues to add attractions for all ages.

If you're lucky enough to be around, Bellaire also hosts fun annual events such as the Rubber Ducky Festival, Harvest Festival and Scarecrow Extravaganza, Holiday Gift Fair, Light Up The Night, 5k Run/Walk, Parade, Soup Cook-Off and much more.  

 

Skiing:

The resort's 4500 acres offers downhill skiing with 53 runs on its 2 mountains with a terrain park. 450 foot vertical drop. From beginner to advanced, there is something for every skier or snow boarder here.

Shanty Creek offers 30K of groomed cross country trails. Walk out the back door and you are on the trail.

 

Tubing:

The Cedar River tubing park is a speedy downhill thrill for your whole crew on Schuss Mountain's north face. SCR's eight lane tubing park is fun for kids, families or groups.

Golf:

Schuss Mountain is the most serene of the three villages in the Shanty Creek Resort. Golf Spring, Summer, and Fall at Shanty Creek. The resort offers 72 holes on 4 championship courses. Schuss Mountain golf course is right out your front door. All of our units offer a great view of the course and access to #1 or #10 is a short walk (or cart ride) away. 

 

The shuttle can take you back and forth from Summit to Schuss village throughout the day and evening.

 

Fall:

 

Our prime fall color time is the first two weeks in October.  Check with the resort for a schedule of times when the lift will take you to the top of Schuss Mountain for one of the best Autumn scenes you'll find anywhere.  Include us on your fall color tour!
